About Tom Jones:
Tom Jones is a self-taught woodworker who came to the profession by a rather circuitous route. He began working with wood some 7 years ago after being made redundant, crafting spoons with locally sourced and sustainable wood for the prize of his street party bake off in his local village in Norfolk. From then on, Tom fell in love with wood working: inspired by the natural colouring, exquisite simplicity and warmth of the wood themselves, his work gently plays with form and texture, and the results are timeless, beautiful pieces of wooden tools that offer up long lasting and functional items in homes. If he is not sanding away in his shed at the bottom of the garden, he can also be found in the kitchen baking sourdough bread or scones for his family.
