Designed with a delightful grey dachshund sausage dog and daisy print, these gloves will keep your hands cool when wrestling hot dishes in and out of the oven. It is made from 100% cotton so they can be machine washed.

There is also a handy ‘loop’ in the middle of the glove so you can hang it up in your kitchen. Many items are available to match.

Founded in London in 2003, Thornback & Peel is a collaboration between florist, Juliet Thornback, and theatre designer, Delia Peel. Taking inspiration from the countryside and the artistic traditions of 19th century wood engravings, their style encapsulates all the quirky wit and charm of good British humour. Using classic screen-printing techniques, each design features a combination of Victoriana meshed with modernistic geometric patterns – borrowing from the nature of Devon and Norfolk and 17th century microscope imagery, along with Enid Blyton’s imaginings of Mr McGregor’s garden and the illustrations found inside Mrs Beeton’s Book of Household Management. Thornback & Peel’s designs first featured on handprinted clutch bags and has since developed into gorgeously styled homeware.
