With this mega 200-piece Magformers magnetic construction set, kids can learn about gear systems, kinetic motion, pistons and sliders, taking their STEAM education and creative play to the next level.
Use the 164 magnetic pieces and 36 accessory pieces to build creative, dynamic, moving models. Six special mirror pieces and LED lights allow children to explore light and reflection – including building a periscope. An engine and power block and walking feet bring animal and robot builds to life.
Magformers magnetic shapes always securely attach. Pieces are made from a specially-toughened ABS plastic and small neodymium magnets are safely sealed in the edges of each piece.
Because these magnets spin due to the Magformers Rotating Magnets System (RMS), they always connect and never repel when two pieces are brought together.
Magformers are tested and approved in quality and safety standards all over the world.
Children can use basic Magformers geometric shapes to create 2D ‘flat’ plans (known as nets), but also 3D figures. It’s very easy to lay Magformers flat, forming a mathematical net, and pull them up to form 3D towers, cubes and other shapes.
