Emile Henry Red Rice Cooking Pot, 2.5 Litre
Cook rice and grains in the Emile Henry redrice cooking pot. The unique design delivers perfect results, every time. Enjoy light and fluffy rice without any of the guesswork.
The pot is made from their signature ceramic. It diffuses heat gently so that rice cooks evenly without drying out. Ceramic retains heat so well that a third of the cooking process is done off the heat.
The design is inspired by traditional Japanese pots called donabe. The perforated inner lid allows steam to circulate, keeping the grains moist. It also prevents rice from boiling over. The pot has a naturally non-stick surface so it’s easy to clean after use.
Use this ceramic pot to cook all kinds of rice and grains. You can enjoy fragrant basmati, couscous and nutty quinoa. Try adding aromatics like garlic, ginger and saffron. Or, use stock instead of water for a rich, savoury flavour.
The rice pot is oven-safe and compatible with most stovetops. You can cook up to 1kg of rice at a time. This is equivalent to four to six servings.
The red rice cooking pot is made in France and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
Not suitable for induction hobs.
